Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 15, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how MaxoTools.com ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use our website and tools.

1. Information we do NOT collect

Most of our tools — including all Text Tools and Encoder Tools, plus JPG-to-PDF and PDF-to-JPG — run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. The text or files you input into these tools are processed locally on your device and are never uploaded to or stored on our servers.

2. Information we may collect

For tools that require server-side processing (such as certain PDF conversions), uploaded files are transmitted to our server only to perform the requested operation and are deleted automatically after processing or after a short retention window. We do not review, share, or use the contents of your files for any other purpose.

If you use our Contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you submit, solely to respond to your inquiry.

3. Automatically collected data

Like most websites, our server and analytics tools may automatically log standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and timestamps. This is used in aggregate to understand site usage and diagnose issues, not to identify individuals.

4. Cookies

We may use essential cookies for basic site functionality and, if enabled, analytics or advertising cookies to understand traffic and improve the Site. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings at any time.

5. Third-party services

We may use third-party services such as analytics providers (e.g. Google Analytics) or advertising networks. These providers may collect data according to their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

6. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect any data that is transmitted to our servers. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's privacy

Our Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data. See our GDPR and CCPA pages for region-specific details.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
